Below find the final results for this Year’s 2019 National Rifle League season. Congratulations to Chico CA our 2019 season champions. This is their third league title in a row. They had a total team score of 15900 and were led this year by Justin Nisson, who ended the season with a 398.20 average in 4-P. Albion PA finished in second place, with a very respectable team score of 15866, they were led by Joe Schrader who had a 398.29 average in 4-P; Plattsburgh NY was in 3rd place this year with a score of 15795 led by Peter Visconti with a 396.20 average in prone. Roslyn NY came in fourth, only 8 pts behind, with a 15787, they were led by Fred Greco who had a 398.20 average in prone. Our Division Champions were as follows; Chico CA followed by Sutter G CA in the West; Albion PA followed by Jamestown NY in the Central Division; Roslyn NY followed by New Holland PA in the Southern Division; Barrington NH followed by Plattsburgh Aces NY in the Eastern Division; Plattsburgh RR NY in the Northern Division followed by Vankleek ON; Hudson Falls followed by Plattsburgh E NY, in the Saratoga Division.
Top shooters this year: Joe Shrader 398.26 in 4-P; Fred Greco with a 398.20 average in Prone; Joe Schrader with a 396.80 average in Air Rifle/Standing and Scott Correa who had a 363.30 average in Sporter Rifle.
Top Junior Shooters this year: AJ Fedora of Sutter with a 394.20 followed by Colby Pecorella of Albion with a 394 average in 4-P in 4-P; Scotty Rocket with a 396.20 average followed by Mason Mackenzie of Queen Ann with a 387 average in standing; William Durant of Chester NH with a 362.10 average prone followed by Cody Fleming of Queen Ann with a 361.50 Average . Micah Torp of Rochester was our top sporter rifle shooter with a 302.33 average. Our Top Senior Shooters Fred Greco, 398.20 average in Prone; Joe Shrader 398.26 in 4-P, Scott Correa 363.30 average in Sporter Rifle, 361 and Joe Schrader 396.80 average in standing
Our League MVP was Joe Shrader who had an absolutely amazing season with a 398.26 average in 4-P, and 396.80 average in Standing. He also fired in the prone division.
I want to thank everyone who participated this winter season. I would like to especially thank all the team captains/ managers for all the work they did organizing and running their teams. It is always a pleasure corresponding with all of you, it is actually the most enjoyable part of running the league. Hopefully you have found the league useful in helping to grow your own programs.
