The Junior Shooting program at the Plattsburgh Rod and Gun Club has had a very strong attendance this year with over 20 juniors actively participating each week.
The Juniors shoot at three times on Thursdays 4pm, 5:00 and 6:30pm
They are competing in the National Rifle League at the club is currently fielding three teams.
One of its former Juniors graduated from Wofford College and shot for their Div 1 Rifle Team. Two others alumni have shot for SUNY Plattsburgh, with another two currently starting for their team. A third junior is currently shooting for Georgia Southern for their Div 1 Rifle Team.
The program is supported via generous grants for the 2020-21 season from the Friends of he NRA, Ridgerunners and club members.
